The latest change in season sees fresh new changes in our summer menu. Come to The Grange at lunch-time, and you’ll find a delicious range of light and bright salads inspired by sunshine, together with a few seasonal twists to our main courses and puddings.
A colourful addition is the roasted butternut squash salad mixed with baby spinach and truffled ricotta – all sprinkled with a healthy scattering of pumpkin seeds.
Our summer garden salad is packed with vibrant vegetables – a refreshing assortment of fresh peas, tenderstem broccoli and soya beans dressed in a tangy yoghurt dressing.
Another colourful, salad is our lightly-spiced Mexican bean salad which combines a protein-rich medley of delicious beans – black eyed, black turtle, butter and edamame beans, and avocado tossed in a bright and herbal chimichurri dressing, with an added dash of zesty lime.
Back to the garden (with a delectable twist), chef has created the runner bean, courgette and samphire salad, vibrant green with thinly sliced fresh courgettes, mixed with runner beans and the vibrant green, salty samphire, all enlivened with a preserved lemon dressing.
Finally, our seasonal salads include the bright roast pepper, grilled aubergine and cracked Freekeh salad full of Mediterranean flavours. This healthy, flavour-packed salad is tossed with tahini dressing, and simply pops with crimson pomegranate seeds.
Our popular Grange Fish Pie has been briefly replaced with a truly tempting new fish dish. The Grange salmon, cod and broccoli cakes are crisp on the outside, and melt in your mouth inside. Topped with a poached egg, swathed with a light hollandaise sauce and served with wilted kale, they are sure to make you very happy!
Chef’s Summer Grilled lamb kofta has a fresh summer twist with a new accompaniment to this lightly-spiced lamb kebab – a light quinoa tabbouleh, with Feta cheese and tahini yoghurt.
Our new pesto, spinach and tomato farfalle pasta dish is vegan-friendly, but can also be served with optional fresh flaked salmon.
And finally, two new sensational pudding choices to round off your meal include the sumptuous strawberry cheesecake.
