A fresh and bright new Spring menu at The Grange

With the days getting longer at last, Chef has been inspired by the abundance of fresh ingredients and lively flavours available to create some delightful new seasonal dishes.

This spring, The Grange Restaurant introduces a refreshing range of satisfying salads all available from the counter. They include vegan choices of a lively roasted fennel and orange salad sprinkled with caramalised walnuts, and the piquant kohlrabi and apple slaw with a miso dressing. Our new gluten-free salads include the quinoa tabbouleh with a scattering of feta cheese and new potato and herb salad peppered with parsley, dill and energising capers.

Spring Seasonal Salads

For a truly sustaining salad lunch, why not add your choice of protein, from the new lemon and coriander marinated organic chicken breast, vegan and gluten-free house falafel, poached organic salmon or a beautifully arranged soft-boiled egg with avocado and antioxidant-rich chia?

Our hot meals are all freshly made to order and take a little more time to prepare.

Chef’s latest homemade seasonal pie, The Grange chicken, bacon and leek pie, is packed with succulent meat – a warming and delicious lunch, much like a big hug on a cold spring day!

Chef’s quite excited by his new bubble & squeak, not only introducing it to breakfast where he serves it with the Hearing Dogs Full English, the Full Vegan, and a hearty poached egg and hollandaise sauce, but you can also enjoy a wholesome smoked haddock bubble & squeak for lunch too, served with a soft poached egg, spinach and mustard hollandaise.

Our vegan burger has had a spring-time makeover with a homemade cauliflower and wild mushroom patty, served with hummus, pickled carrots and a sweet chilli sauce. Simply scrumptious.

Finally, why not wrap up your meal with a satisfying sweet treat?  Our homemade warm salted caramel and pecan brownie is served with custard or ice cream for a real taste of luxury.

Or perhaps a lighter touch with our lemon posset and passion fruit jelly, offering a taste of the sunshine to come!
